Vintage metal Kriegsmarine u-boat toy from - I was told - WW2. You may have seen quite some modern fakes (usually died red/black and reading u-995 on its hull) pass by online but this is the one model that those were based on. Has great aesthetic appeal and would not look out of place inside a diorama, for instance.
