The logo on the cloth portrays a Luftwaffe sword with number "8" plunging into the area around London on a map of the UK. This came to me in one lot but I have no idea how they could be related, if that were indeed the case. I also may have attributed it to the wrong wing but it obviously is an 8th squadron of something within the Luftwaffe - more info would be most welcome here (this also goes for the illegible - to me at least - handwriting on the verso.
